Hermiston Grand Opening

Famous for its watermelon farming, Hermiston is known as the Eastern Oregon town “Where Life is Sweet.” And with the grand opening of the local BestMed Urgent Care on Thursday, July 13, 2023, it got just a little bit sweeter.

Local business leaders with the Hermiston Chamber of Commerce and other residents warmly welcomed clinic staff and family members to the community. Tours of the beautiful new clinic, tasty treats, a traditional ribbon cutting and a bubbly (non-alcoholic) toast were among the festivities celebrating the improved access to immediate health care heralded by BestMed’s opening.

Like its 18 sister clinics around the state, the Hermiston BestMed offers high-quality, compassionate healthcare for non-emergency injuries and illnesses. The clinic is equipped with diagnostic tools such as X-ray and EKG, as well as on-site testing for conditions include Covid-9, flu and pregnancy. From heat exhaustion, campfire burns and summer sports sprains to strep throat, slips on the ice and winter vaccinations, BestMed Urgent Care’s caring, experienced and well-equipped providers help people feel better faster so they can get back to enjoying their lives.

For patients who find themselves unwell, BestMed is a great alternative to waiting days, weeks or even months to see a primary care provider while also avoiding the stress and expense of visiting the emergency room. Perhaps that’s why the warmest welcome on Thursday came from patients — the first arrived just as the doors opened!

The Hermiston BestMed is open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week at 1623 N. 1st Street. Patients may walk in or register online. To learn more about BestMed Urgent Care’s services, see accepted insurance plans and find other clinic locations, visit bestmedclinics.com
