About Chris
Chris Kaufman is a Physician Associate who provides patient-centered primary care with a focus on building long-term relationships and supporting overall health and wellness. He enjoys caring for patients across all stages of life and helping them feel informed, comfortable, and confident in their care. His clinical interests include chronic disease management, preventive care, nutrition, endocrine conditions, injuries, rehabilitation, and in-office procedures.
Chris’s path into medicine began early while growing up in a small country town in Maricopa, California, where he cared for family members and neighborhood children. He later joined the United States Army as a Combat Medic in 2009 and deployed to Afghanistan in 2014 as a senior medic. Following his deployment, Chris pursued advanced medical training to expand his ability to provide long-term care to patients.
He earned his Doctor of Medical Science degree from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon, where he also completed his Master of Physician Assistant Studies. His academic background, combined with hands-on clinical experience, allows him to care for both acute concerns and ongoing health conditions with confidence and consistency. Since graduating from his doctoral program in 2021, Chris has worked as an urgent care provider and Army Medical Officer, including a deployment with the Oregon Army National Guard’s 2-162 Infantry to Kosovo in 2025. Chris noticed a large deficiency for his patients in primary care coverage for central Oregon and decided help bridge the gap by adding his efforts.
Chris lives in Redmond, Oregon, with his family and is proud to serve the community he calls home. Outside of work, he enjoys mixed martial arts, basketball, video games, art, spending time with his kids, and finding time to relax and recharge.
