Since earning her accreditation as a Family Nurse Practitioner (NP) in 2013, Jessica Guido has worked with a wide range of patients, from infants to adults 98-years young, helping them to understand and treat such complex chronic conditions as hypertension, diabetes, depression, and other mental illnesses. She even moonlights as a veterinarian on her family’s cattle ranch at times. Yet if she has a special place in her heart for pediatrics, it may be because of her other full-time role: that of a mom. “My husband Wes and I have two children, Shaye and Devree.” Jessica’s love and commitment to raising her children have also made her a strong advocate for organ donation. “My daughter is a liver transplant patient. I was her living donor, but the first surgery failed. She received a cadaveric donation from our angel, Melissa.”
